- Fixed: When I start the weather subapp, the initial focus stays on the bottom of the page, on the "Change Location" button, so I have to scroll up to see the current conditions. Is there any way you could have the focus stay at the top of the page? That seems more intuitive to me... (ximinez on Tue Feb 09, 2010 12:59 pm)
- Fixed: Having the instructions right on the permissions screen is really cool! But I can't scroll down far enough to read it all because I get sort of stuck on the yes/no buttons. "No" highlights and I can't scroll far enough down. (Quempas on Tue Feb 09, 2010 8:31 am)

- Fixed: When editing a menu, for example, its name, instead of editing the current menu it creates a second entry, a duplicate. So instead of having one revised menu, you have two of the same menu except one is the older menu and the other has the change that you apply. (dx169 on Thu Feb 04, 2010 6:54 pm )

- Font issues with day selection makes it impossible to see days selected with certain fonts (Toneberry24) 2/4@6:36

- in the "weather for.." part when i first loaded it this am it would display the the highs and lows for the day right on the icon...it stopped doing that. not sure why or if i might have accidentally changed a setting.it recently just came back... (jonhedge1) 2/4@12:49
- I went back in to the "Home Screen Bookmarks" section of the app to delete my duplicate shortcut. It just sits at "Loading" with an empty list now. I can still load the menu, but the options don't do anything at this point. (talon8) 2/4@11:22
- the font color is also white when you creating folders in the Canned Responses area as well. (c0rinne) 2/4@11:00
- Popup menus should detect that there's one already open and not open a second
- Popup menu should default to double press 'End' not press
- I went to the "Add a Homescreen" app and tried to add a "Take a picture". When I press "back" it asks me if I want to save and I say yes, but it doesn't leave the page. If I press "discard" nothing gets created. (ofutur) 2/4@6:46
- From searching from Wikipedia is fine but once you hit the end-key it brings you back to the homepage with three options menu open and the keyboard open and will not go away.(a battery pull got it to leave) (PhamO) 2/4@10:02
- Editing Convenience Keys Creates a copy (talon8) 2/4@9:10
- Editing a existing bookmark seems to create a copy (like editing convenience keys). In this case, I had it set to launch a URL. I modified the actual URL. (talon8) 2/4@11:22
- On my Bold 9000 running OS 5.0, when typing the criteria for the Auto Reply, what you are typing does not appear in the box until you are done typing and return to the Edit Auto reply page. (Rumur) 2/4@9:37
- I set it to "Compose" instead. When I tried to run it I got "Error running action for shortcut key! net.rim.device.api.system.ApplicationManagerException: Error starting null: null" (talon8) 2/4@9:58
- When I add the BB "Compose" to the pop up menu and tried to run it i got this "Error running menu item! net.rim.decive.api.system.ApplicationMangerException: Error starting null: null" This Error also shows when "altMusic, altPictures, altVideos", "Files" "Music" "net_rim_bb_clock" "Pictures" "SavedMessages" "Videos" (PhamO) 2/4@11:46

- I'm trying to set up a shortcut to launch a file from my home screen. If I enter the url as file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/Documents/File.xls in the BB Browser's address bar, the file opens just fine with Spreadsheets To Go. (The same thing happens with jpg and mp3 files. I mean to say that they open with the correct viewer.) The problem is that when creating the shortcut in VersaTool, it insists on adding http://, which breaks the shortcut. Is there a way to get this fixed. Maybe have the shortcut creator check the url and not add http:// if it starts with file://?

- Please add a feature where in the pop up custom menus I can use the rocker button on the side to move up and down on the storm.
- As well if the rocker button could be a convince key that would be great!
- Please add some form of leaving the backlight on
Make it like QL where u can turn shutter sound off on cdma phones.

Using this app for very long time hoping for an update
- Bedside mode device action
- Option to make alarms play beyond 30 min
- I run an application on my blackberry called the PhoneTweak for the same reason. This allows the keypad to be locked and the backlight to be turned off when a call is initiated along with the small vibration for a call connect and/or a disconnect. I'm not sure if this is a complex implementation to your already amazing VersaTool app but it would really be great to combine all the daily used apps in one for everyone.
- Bedside mode triggers backlight off event
- DST has made alarms off by an hour
- Mute/vol up/vol down as device actions
- Custom system-wide menu options
- Add versatool feature for toggling play pause in podtrapper
Feature suggestions:
- Spam filter
- Timezone conversion
- Contact search
- GPS position canned response
- Enable/disable auto responses as action
- Ability to override popup text font and color (or maybe just hardcode them?)
- Bayesian classification of emails
- Byte conversions (mb<->gb, etc)
- Auto update weather based on GPS position
- Auto reroute calls through google voice or calling card
- Auto speakerphone when laying flat (storm)
- Email archive
- Translator
- Roll HoneyDew into VersaTool
- 'Add to existing contact' applet http://www.versatilemonkey.com/forums/posting.php?mode=reply&f=16&t=912#pr4407
- - call firewall (block calls, whitelist, blacklist)
- Auto keylock
- Run on event (backlight timed out, device power up, after X idle time, near location)
- Send message to calendar, todo
- Reminders for calls and messages
- Auto-forward
- Standby action
- Flashlight
- World clock
- Timed profile changes
- Video recording
- One touch forwarding to various numbers (phone calls)
- An "add as calendar event" menu option would be great. Select some text, then select the option to send it to the calendar
- State of the berry (memory, time, etc)
- App update checker that periodically checks jad files for updates
- Hex conversion, more units
- Stopwatch
- Timer
- More flexible scheduling (monthly, etc)
- Better folders (nested folders, etc)
- Configurable launcher icons
- File download isn't behaving with download rules
- another tool that is simple yet useful is calculator plus, that can go beyond the limitation of 8 digit.
- One more tool that I would like to see that is not available yet to blackberry is mail foldering tool, to create mail folders such as outlook and the ability to create rule/ filter each mail to be kept into separate designated folders.
- Automatic wallpaper switcher
- Ability to create a shortcut to the SMS inbox that shows up in the running apps list. Why?
Say i have Messages and SMS & MMS separated (as most do).
There is no way I can switch to the SMS inbox by holding down the Menu key and using the app switcher. Only the messages app shows up in this list. I always have to return to the app/today screen, then go to the SMS inbox.
- An idea: I don't know if it's possible, but it would be great to be able to configure which browser to be the default when launching through VT, or to be able to choose on the spot. (BB, Opera, Opera 5 Beta, Bolt etc.)
- How about a device action to launch Calendar in a particular view (e.g., agenda, week, day, etc.) for use in convenience keys?
Other ideas include: launch a saved search or perhaps messages with a filter applied.
- Enable/Disable auto replies as action
- Auto reply to phone calls via SMS when on the phone
- Allow rtsp:// links
