• I'm trying to set up a shortcut to launch a file from my home screen. If I enter the url as file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/Documents/File.xls in the BB Browser's address bar, the file opens just fine with Spreadsheets To Go. (The same thing happens with jpg and mp3 files. I mean to say that they open with the correct viewer.) The problem is that when creating the shortcut in VersaTool, it insists on adding http://, which breaks the shortcut. Is there a way to get this fixed. Maybe have the shortcut creator check the url and not add http:// if it starts with file://?
